The subscription to the contract governed by these general conditions, with the editor of this website implies the acceptance, by the internet user, of all these general conditions, and the internet user also recognises to have been fully aware of these. This acceptance will consist in the fact, for the internet user, to tick the box corresponding to this sentence : « je reconnais avoir lu et accepté l'ensemble des conditions générales du site. » (I say have read and accepted all the general conditions of this website). The fact of ticking the box will be considered as having the same value than a handwritten signature by the internet user. The internet user recognises the value of evidence of the automatic recording systems of the editor of this website and, except for providing evidence of the contrary; he waives to contest them in case of litigation.

The acceptance of these general conditions implies from the internet users that they have the necessary legal capacity to it, or in the absence of, that they have the authorisation from a/the person legally responsible for them, to do so.

The website functions 24 hours a day and everyday of the week (from Monday to Sunday). Its access is free. It proposes a legal assistance in French law. The rates indicated on the website are “all taxes included” and are subject to change at anytime, without notice.

The users refrain themselves from any action for damages against French-legal-advice.net or against its lawyers, for damages caused by the use of this website and which are caused to them or to a third party. It is to the user only to judge the relevancy of the answers. The discussions enter into the framework of legal information. You cannot in any case use the discussions in a judicial or other legal framework. Please directly contact a lawyer’s firm or an expert for this.

This notification will be repeated several times during your time spent on the website. The users forbid themselves to contact members by other ways than the ways described in the CGU (general conditions of use) and explained on the website. As well the users refrain themselves from contacting the lawyers for uses different than what provided by the announcement published on the website.

The user engages himself not to ask a question affecting public order and morality or being related with unlawful activities : the modification or deletion of a discussion as well as the non treatment of an order will be able to intervene in this kind of cases, and this in a unlimited way : * inappropriate writing of the question, inadequate or misleading ; * the proposed service is likely, in any manner whatsoever, to affect the rights of third parties ; * the question is illicit ; * the content of the question or of the answer includes, notably, discriminatory terms, racists, of a pornographic character, paedophile or induces to incite to hatred or violence ; * the website considers the content of a question scandalous or offensive; the user will then be refund by bank transfer immediately and will be advised of the refusal, by the website, to process his order.

The website has as an aim, to relate individuals and companies who, on the one hand, ask for legal information in specified domains and, on the other hand, lawyers to answer their questions and inform them about their rights. If within more than 48 hours (during working days), the user does not have an answer from our team, he can ask for a reimbursement by bank transfer on his question by contacting the team.

If, within 2 weeks after the submission of the question, the user still does not have any answer, the reimbursement will then be automatic and the question deleted. Indeed, it may be that for some complicated cases, or if we do not have the answers immediately, the response time could be extended to 2 weeks. The answers given to the questions only constitute legal information and, in accordance with legislation in force, they cannot be used in a judicial or other legal framework.

The answers are given by confirmed English speaking lawyers, but their content remains at the general discretion of the user. To obtain legal advice, the user will have to directly consult a lawyer’s firm or a specialist.

The website tries it best to secure its systems against loss and/or any irregular form of use of its data. To achieve this goal, the website implements relevant technical and organisational measures accordingly to existing state of technology.

In the framework of legal questions, the website has for aim to relate individuals/companies with lawyers. The lawyers will never be held liable for an error of judgement. These general conditions are subject to the application of French law (in case of litigation, it is the French version of these general conditions that applies). Unless stated by public order, all litigation that could intervene under the execution of these general conditions can be, previously to an action in justice, subject to the discretion of the editor in order to find an amicable settlement. It is expressly reminded that the applications for amicable settlement do not suspend the open time to bring actions in justice.

Unless contrary provided, by public order, any action in justice under the execution of this contract will have to be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal of BASSE NORMANDIE. If one of the clauses of these general conditions has to be declared void by a court, this invalidity shall not render all the other clauses void, and the other clauses will carry on providing their effects.
